Back to school 2014

After the long summer break it's back to school for everyone, once the school uniforms for the kindergarden, primary and secondary level, and all the school materials, have been bought and sorted, the registration payments have been made, and arrangements made for our older girls who left school a year ago to continue their chosen further education courses. All this is always a big expense for us every year and we are extremely grateful to those who have given us donations to make this possible. In particular we always try to raise funds for this through our Christmas cake raffles. We are always keen to find new places for these raffles so do be in touch if you can support us this way in the future! http://projectperu.org.uk/news/2013/10/01/not-too-early-for-christmas.htm

Is it your business to support Project Peru?

  Businesses and charities can work together;

if you can work with us it will help us both. Here are some ideas:

Why Project Peru? we have minimal overheads; we have over  20 years’ experience after starting our project from scratch; we know that all our funds go where they are intended; we have over 40 children who depend on us daily so we can work to help make them independent adults.

 Employee fundraising can give us all some benefit,

both our charity, your staff, and your company…choose an event of your own or provide an opportunity to engage your staff more in charity events and activities.

Payroll giving by individual staff members is both tax effective and helps give us a sustainable flow of funds so we can plan our work better; http://projectperu.org.uk/fundraising/payroll-giving.htm

  A ‘sponsored champion’ from your company

put forward by you and sponsored for this year’s Paris bike ride could make a real difference;

 Arranging a raffle of our Christmas cakes

at a Christmas staff event would help fund our children’s education next year and our other Christmas activities in Peru.

A staff development or staff bonding break to Peru? We can develop a programme which would combine a chance to see our work, to do something useful such as a building project, and to visit some of the wonders of Peru. Or take your own career break and volunteer with Project Peru?
