Yes we'll have more bananas!

We have recently transplanted some banana plants from nearby Las Laderas to add to our garden at the refuge.

This link shows where we started from at our refuge: http://projectperu.org.uk/our-work/the.htm

...and we now have a new kitchen garden too: http://projectperu.org.uk/our-work/a-secret-garden-in-the-shanty-towns.htm

Out and about in Lima and beyond

We organise educational visits in Lima and beyond when we can and also social outings; these always need funding and there are many ways you could help us with this; see http://projectperu.org.uk/fundraising/fundraising.htm

Back to school 2015

Peru being in the southern hemisphere the school year starts after the Summer, in March. So after the long summer break it's back to school for everyone, once the school uniforms for the kindergarden, primary and secondary level, and all the school materials, have been bought and sorted, and the registration payments have been made. All this is always a big expense for us every year and we are extremely grateful to those who have given us donations to make this possible.
