Opening up a little

As the Covid-19 crisis eases a little with the rolling out of a vaccine programme nationally, the children have been able to visit appropriate relatives and family members outside the refuge, we have been welcoming a number of new children at the refuge, and all the children, of all ages, have had at least their first jab, with newcomers visiting the local health centre.

We’ve been able to freshen up the whole of our refuge, have been able to replace all the bedding in he dormitories, and have been fumigating throughout as we do every six months.

Additionally we have been able to continue to provide help to some of our local communities, distributing staple food supplies provided by a food bank and supermarket, by acting as a local hub to assist in this process during the Covid-19 pandemic.
