A long walk to the Pacific
One day, during the two week break from virtual education, the older children completed a 12k walk from the refuge to the sea, through the lovely local ‘countryside’, ending up in Ancon … with a plunge into the Pacific, even in winter!
At last, a day out!
For the first time for about 18 months the children from our refuge had a day out, with a safe excursion to the Lomas de Lachay, which was thoroughly enjoyed by staff and children alike.
