Distributing food baskets to some of the poorest areas near the refuge
Our staff with some of the children visited some of the poorest local shanty town communities near us to donate food parcels. This helps all round by giving our children a sense of responsibility too.

Spring comes to the refuge
Spring comes towards the end of the calendar year in our part of the southern hemisphere. Here the children are enjoying gathering some of our new crop of camomile, lettuce, radishes, carrots, chives and tomatoes and also having a celebratory Sports day and a fiesta to welcome Spring.
